4/25 지구의 날/Earth Day > 2025-2026 종이랑 미술이랑 B (PreK Art - B)

4/22 지구의 날을 맞아 아이들과 함께 지구를 그려보는 시간을 가졌습니다. 활동을 하며 초록색, 파란색, 하얀색이 각각 무엇을 의미하는지 이야기 나누며 땅과 바다, 구름에 대해 자연스럽고 즐겁게 대화해보았습니다. 또 분필과 반짝이 풀을 사용해 반짝이는 별도 표현해보며 작품을 꾸며보았어요. 처음에는 “어려울 것 같아요” 하며 걱정하던 친구들도 있었지만 하나씩 해보면서 점점 자신감을 보이기 시작했습니다. 검정 종이 위에 자신만의 지구가 완성되자 환하게 웃으며 뿌듯해하는 모습이 정말 귀여웠어요! 저도 덩달아 기분이 좋아지는 수업 시간이었습니다 :)

4/22 was Earth Day and to celebrate, we spent time drawing our own versions of the Earth together. As the children worked, I encouraged them to think about what each color represents—green, blue, and white—and we had some lovely conversations about land, oceans, and clouds.

To make the activity even more fun, we used chalk and glitter glue to create stars around our planets. We also used chalk and glitter glue to add sparkling stars and decorate our artwork. At first, some children felt it might be too difficult and were a bit unsure, but as they got started, their confidence grew little by little. When their beautiful Earths were completed on the black paper, they lit up with big smiles, clearly proud of what they had made. Seeing their “I did it!” expressions made me very happy as their teacher :)
