1/31 사군자 병풍 Sagunja Folding Screen > 2025-2026 종이랑 미술이랑 A (PreK Art - A)

이번 시간에는 2026년2학기 첫수업으로, 사군자 도안을 색칠하여서 접는 종이 병풍을 만들어 보았습니다. 사군자(四君子)는 한국 전통 회화에서 옛날부터 많이 그려 온 네 가지 식물 그림으로, 군자의 바른 성품을 상징합니다. 먼저 프린트된 사군자 도안을 색칠한 후, 그림 밑에 각 식물의 이름 "매화" (추운 겨울에도 핌→ 끝까지 노력), "난초" (조용히 자람 → 마음이 고움), "국화" (가을에도 핌 → 인내), "대나무" (곧게 자람 → 정직) 을 쓰고, 자릅니다. 병풍으로 쓸 두꺼운 검은 종이를 병풍접기로 접은 후, 자른 사군자 그림을 각 면에 순서대로 붙입니다. 병풍을 접어서 앞면에 무늬 색지를 붙이고 “사군자”라는 제목을 씁니다. 병풍 뒷면에는 이름을 성과 함께 쓰면 완성입니다.

At the first lesson of the second semester of 2026, students made a folding paper screen by coloring pictures of the Four Noble Plants. The Four Noble Plants (Sagunja) are four plants often shown in traditional Korean art. They stand for good values and good character. First, students colored the printed Sagunja pictures. Then, they wrote the name of each plant under the picture “Plum Blossom” (Blooms in winter → Never gives up), “Orchid” (Grows quietly → Kind and gentle), “Chrysanthemum” (Blooms in fall → Patient), “Bamboo” (Grows straight → Honest). After that, students cut out the pictures. They folded thick black paper back and forth and glued the pictures on each side in order. Next, they decorated the front with colored pattern paper and wrote the title “Sagunja.” Finally, they wrote their full names on the back to finish the project.
