오늘은 추석 행사가 있었습니다.

We celebrated Chuseok today.

송편을 먹고 강강술래를 하며, 달에게 소원을 비는 활동도 하고, 추석에 대해 배우는 시간도 가졌습니다. 아래 사진도 확인해 주세요.

We made and ate songpyeon (rice cakes), played ganggangsullae (a traditional circle dance), made wishes to the moon, and learned about Chuseok. Please take a look at the photos below.

오늘까지 한글의 기본 모음을 복습했고, 다음 주부터는 자음을 하나씩 배우면서 모음과 자음의 조합 글자에 대해 배워갈 예정입니다.

Up to today, we have reviewed the basic Korean vowels. Starting next week, we will begin learning the consonants and how to combine them with vowels to make syllables.

다음 주 받아쓰기는 기본 모음으로 이루어진 글자 6개(아이, 아야, 우유, 요요, 여우, 오이)입니다. 숙제를 하며 연습할 수 있도록 도와주세요.

Next week’s dictation will include six simple words made with basic vowels (아이, 아야, 우유, 요요, 여우, 오이). Please help your child practice while doing homework.
