Greetings!

The weather is getting warmer, but it is still chilly. Spring seems to be slowly arriving, as I can see flower buds blooming here and there. During this transitional season, please be careful of catching a cold and make sure to take care of your health.

In the last class, we had a time to learn about the traditional culture of the Lunar New Year in Korea through the Seollal event. I hope it was a fun and informative time for everyone. I hope you understood the meaning of Seollal and why it is important in Korea through various words related to the Lunar New Year. This week, we will proceed with the Korean language textbook "Sejong Korean Conversation Volume 1." In order to conduct this class, it is essential for you to complete the homework. Please make sure to practice writing in the provided workbook and also try to pronounce the words.

Regarding the upcoming speaking competition, we encourage those in our Garam class who wish to participate to do so through poetry recitation. Please check the attached file for the poems for recitation.
