안녕하세요!

겨울이 성큼 다가왔습니다. 저는 지난주에 감기 몸살로 1주일 정도 힘겨운 나날을 보냈습니다. 여러분 모두 감기에 유의하시고 건강 할 수 있도록 개인 위생에 철저하셨으면 합니다. 

지난주에는 2주간의 추수감사절 방학동안 무엇을 하였는지에 대해서 이야기를 나누었었습니다. 그에 맞추어 다양한 한국의 음식 문화 및 연휴에 대해서 배웠습니다. 특히, ~해요와 ~요의 용법의 차이에 대하여 학습하였습니다. 이번주에는 교과서 9과부터 12과까지 미리 학습해 오신다면 원활한 수업을 하실 수 있으리라 생각합니다.

Winter is fast approaching. Last week, I had a tough time battling a cold and the flu for about a week. I hope everyone stays mindful of colds and takes thorough care of personal hygiene to stay healthy.

Last week, we talked about what we did during the two-week Thanksgiving break. In line with that, we learned about various aspects of Korean food culture and holidays. In particular, we studied the difference in usage between “~해요” and “~요.” If you preview Lessons 9 through 12 in the textbook this week, I believe our class will go smoothly.
