안녕하세요,  

이번주부터 비가 오고 추운 계절이 찾아왔습니다. 아쉽게도, 놀이터 시간은 가을 겨울에는 잠시 보류하겠습니다. 이 점 양해해주시기 바랍니다. 

-1교시: 복합 모음 1 복습 (ㅐ,ㅒ,ㅔ,ㅖ,ㅢ)

-2교시: 교내 글쓰기 대회 - 자유반은 “세종대왕” 또는 “동서남북”을 정하여 4행시 쓰기

-3교시: 숫자 배우기: 한자어부터 배우기 (일,이,삼,사) 및 숫자 게임 & 달력 읽기 

아이들 모두 1부터 10까지 셀 수 있으며, 챌린지로 20과 30을 배웠고, 99까지 읽을 수 있는 아이들이 있었습니다. 

칭찬해주시고, 집에서 연습할 수 있도록 도와주시기 바랍니다. 

-숙제: 복합 모음 단어 연습 (첨부 파일 참고)

-광고: 

1. 교내 글쓰기 대회를 잘 마쳤습니다. 수고해주신 부모님들께 감사를 표합니다. 공정한 심사를 거친 후에, 12월에 시상식이 있겠습니다. 

2. 다음 주는 공개 수업이 있는 날입니다. 부모님들이 오셔서 저희 자유반을 응원해주시고 아이들에게 용기를 북돋아주는 시간이 되길 바랍니다. 아이들도 부모님이 오신다면 정말 좋아할것 같습니다. 시간 및 자세한 내용은 주중에 이메일로 보내드리겠습니다. 

3. 다음 주에 격주로 진행하는 받아쓰기를 할 예정입니다. 받아쓰기 목록은 첨부 파일을 참고해주세요. 목록 중에서 20 단어를 택하여 문제를 출제하겠습니다. 각 가정에서 연습할 수 있는 시간을 만들어주시면 한글공부에 도움이 될것입니다. 

다음 주엔 직접 만나 뵙길 소망합니다. 감사합니다.

Hello,

Seattle weather has come back.

Unfortunately, this means our class is holding off going to the playground during the recess time until the winter is over. 

I would appreciate it if you could understand our circumstances.

-1st period: Compound Vowels 1 Review (ㅐ,ㅒ,ㅔ,ㅖ,ㅢ)

-2nd period: Annual Writing Competition - Choose one quatrains topic from “세종대왕” or “동서남북”

-3rd period: Learn how to read Numbers in Korean from 1 to 10 (Went through 1 way of 2 ways: Il, Ee, Sam, Sa) and played the Number game. Students can also read the numbers from the calendar when pointed out. Please encourage them to practice at home. At the end of the class, I challenged them to read 20, 30, and 40. Once they got the concept, they were reading the numbers all the way to 99! Hooray!

-Homework: Write the words that contain Compound Vowels (See attached)

-Announcement:

1. We have completed the Annual Writing Competition successfully. Thanks for helping your child to complete the task. 

After a fair review, there will be an awards ceremony in December. 

2. Next week is Open House and parents are welcome to come to our class for 30 minutes to see how your child is doing at Korean school. 

Further information will be notified via email during this week. 

3. Like I mentioned before, I will conduct a spelling test (bi-weekly) next week. Please see attached spelling test list. 

I will choose 20 words from the list so if kids can practice at home in advance, that would be helpful to improve Korean.
