안녕하세요, 

이번주 수업에 아이들이 적극적으로 참여해주어 서로에 대해 알아가며 한국어를 배우는 좋은 시간을 보냈습니다. 

아이들을 학교에 보내주셔서 감사합니다.

선생님과 학우들에게 할 수 있는 인사를 배웠습니다. 집에서도 꾸준히 인사를 연습할 수 있도록 도와주시기 바랍니다 (배운 단어: 안녕, 안녕하세요, 선생님, 친구들 이름, 자유반, 모음 10개, 태극기, 무궁화, 애국가).

-1교시: 인사 하기, 출석 확인, 학급 규칙 안내, 학우들과 선생님을 서로 소개하고 알아가는 시간

-2교시: 지난주 배운 기본 모음 복습 (ㅏ,ㅓ,ㅗ,ㅜ,ㅡ,ㅣ) 및 나머지 기본 모음 배우기 (ㅑ,ㅕ,ㅛ,ㅠ) 및 학습 게임

-문화 배우기: 애국가, 무궁화, 태극기 (애국가를 같이 불러보고, 무궁화와 태극기를 색칠하는 시간을 가졌습니다.) 

-점심시간 (30분)

-3교시: 학급용 1학기 말 Reward Party (1/13/2024) 때 쓸 수 있는 raffle ticket 펠트 지갑 만들기 (시간이 모자라서 지갑만들기를 끝내지 못했습니다. 이번주 토요일에 마무리할 수 있도록 꼭 가져와주세요.)

정리 및 인사: 다음주에 봐요!

--숙제: 배운 모음을 5번씩 쓰기 (숙제를 잃어버린 학생은 첨부된 pdf 파일을 인쇄해주셔서 다음주까지 제출해주시기 바랍니다. 숙제를 가져온 학생들은 학급 기말 파티때 쓸 수 있는 티켓 한장을 받을 수 있습니다.)

*안내 사항: 

1. 교과서: 학생들에게 교과서를 나눠주었습니다. 매주 가져올 수 있도록 신경써주시기 바랍니다. 

2. 출입구 안내: 등/하교 시간엔 출입구 #3 & #4 만 사용하여주시기 바랍니다 (사진 참고). 등/하교 시간이 아닌 다른 시간에 아이를 픽업하시기 원하실 땐, 체육관이 가까운 출입구 #1만 열어놓습니다. 

3. 다음주, 9/23: 학교에서 추석 행사가 있습니다. 원하는 학생에 한해서 한복을 입혀서 보내주시기 바랍니다.

Hello,

Today, students actively participated in class and we had a great time introducing ourselves to the class
and learning Korean vowels. Thank you for sending your children to school.

We learned simple greetings that we can say to our teachers and classmates. 

Please encourage your child practice greetings consistently at home (Vocabs we learned: 안녕, 안녕하세요, 선생님, 친구들 이름, 자유반, 모음 10개, 태극기, 무궁화, 애국가).

-1st period: Greetings, check attendance, inform class rules, and introduce and get to know each other.

-2nd period: Review of the basic vowels learned last week (ㅏ,ㅓ,ㅗ,ㅜ,ㅡ,ㅣ) and learning the remaining basic vowels (ㅑ,ㅕ,ㅛ,ㅠ) 

-Korean Culture: National Symbols such as the National Anthem, Flower, and Flag (We sang the National Anthem together and
colored the National Flower and the Flag of Korea.) 

-Lunch Time (30 minutes)

-3rd period: Make a felt wallet (ticket purse) for raffle tickets that can be used at the end-of-first-semester
"Reward Party" (1/13/2024) for this classroom only.
Due to time constraints, we could not complete our wallets so please have them bring it this Saturday. 

-Clean up & Parents sign-out. See you next Saturday!

--Homework: Write and sound out the vowels you learned today (for students who lost their homework,
please check the attached PDF files, print, and return them to the TAs next week.)

*Please note: 

1. Textbooks were distributed to students today. Please have them bring it in every week.

2. The entrance/exit doors (#3 & #4 from the pictures) are only opened during the drop-off and pick-up times.
If you need to pick up your child before the class ends, please use the entrance near the Auditorium only.

3. Next week, we will celebrate Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) together.
If your child has a Hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) and they wish to wear it,
we encourage them to wear it for school.
