바다반 학부모님께,

안녕하세요, 바다반 부모님들! 

2023~2024년도 시애틀 통합 한국학교 바다반 담임 김혜나입니다. 

바다반은 3~4살 친구들이 한국학교에 제일 어린 반입니다. 바다반 학생들이 안전하고, 즐겁고, 그리고 알차게 한글과 한국 문화를 배우면서 한국인이라는 것을 자랑스럽게 여길 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠습니다. 어려도 열심히 배우는 우리 바다반 친구들에게 부모님의 격려와 칭찬 협조를 부탁드립니다. 매주 아이들이 잘 자고, 아침을 든든히 먹고 등교할 수 있도록 해주십시오. 

수업시간: 매주 토요일 오전 9시 30분~12시 30분/ 특활수업 12:40분~1:30분 (첫 수업과 마지막 수업 날에는 특활수업이 없습니다. 특활 수업이 있는 날에는 특활반 교실에서 1:30에 픽업하시면 됩니다.)

교과서: Let’s Learn Korean

준비물: 교실에 다 있습니다. 

도시락: 도시락과 물통 꼭 챙겨주세요. 견과류는 피해 주십시오. 

알러지: 자녀에게 음식 알러지가 있으면 꼭 알려주세요. 그리고 따로 아침간식도 보내주십시오. 

콧물, 기침, 미열이나 구토 등 이상 증상이 있는 경우는 집에서 쉬게 해주세요.

한국어를 집에서 많이 연습해주세요. (특히 인사말: 안녕하세요, 감사합니다, 잘 먹겠습니다, 안녕히 주무세요 등등) 시간이 나시면, 집에서도 자음을 쓰는 연습을 같이 해주십시오. 

매주 학교 웹사이트 (https://www.usbks.us/bbs/board.php?bo_table=SKPK01)에 수업 정리와 사진을 올립니다. 확인해 주시고 집에서도 열심히 복습할 수 있도록 같이 많이 연습해 주세요. 감사합니다.

Greetings Badabahn Parents, 

My name is Haena Kim and I will be working with your children at Bada Class.  

Our class is the youngest class, consisting of 3-4 year olds. I will do my best for our friends at Badabahn to have a safe, fun, and meaningful second semester. I hope that learning Korean and the culture will build their self confidence and that they will feel proud of being Korean. Please praise and encourage our Badabahn friends who are working hard and learning even though they are so little. Please help them sleep well and eat a good breakfast before arriving at class. 

수업시간: Saturday 9:30-12:30pm/Enrichment class 12:40pm-1:30pm (We do not have enrichment classes on the first and last day of class. On the days we have enrichment classes, please pick them up directly from the enrichment class rooms at 1:30pm.)

준비물: We will provide the materials. 

도시락: Please bring lunch and a water bottle. (We do not provide lunch or water at school.)

알러지: Please advise if your child has allergies or if you would not like your child to be photographed. 

If your child has a runny nose, coughs, a low grade fever, or throws up, please let them stay home and rest.

I try not to send any formal homework. Please practice Korean as much as possible, especially with greetings (Hi, thank you, I will eat well, good night, etc.) If you have the time, please help them write their names in Hangeul.
