안녕하세요, 학부모님.

이번 주 한글 수업에서는 창의력과 언어 감각을 키우는 사행시 활동을 중심으로 다양한 학습이 이루어졌습니다. 학생들은 명사와 어울리는 동사를 연결하여 사행시를 짓고, 발표하며 자신만의 표현력을 발휘했습니다.

숙제 및 공지 사항

• 사행시를 완성 못한 학생들은 학교에서 준 종이에 시를 완성해 오기.

• handout에 포함된 단어들을 반복적으로 읽고 뜻을 익히기.

• 다음 주에는 숙제해온 단어들을 활용한 문장만들기 퀴즈가 있을 예정입니다.

모음과 자음 복습

지난 주 학습한 16개 단어를 퀴즈 형식으로 복습하며 숙제 검사를 진행했습니다.

듣기 평가 및 개념 이해

‘사행시’의 개념을 듣고 이해한 뒤, 첫 음절로 시작하는 단어와 어울리는 동사를 함께 읽고 뜻을 익혔습니다.

문장 만들기 활동

그룹별로 단어 카드를 활용해 문장을 만들고, 칠판에 써서 발표하는 활동을 통해 협력과 발표력을 기를 수 있었습니다. 문장만들기 위한 기본 문법을 배웠습니다.

쓰기 평가 및 창작 활동

학생들은 자신만의 사행시를 창작하고, 저와 함께 초안을 수정한 뒤 학교에서 제공한 종이에 써서 제출했습니다.

한글 디자인 공모전 시상식 참석

한별반 학생 제니가 동상을 받는 자리에 함께 참석해 축하하며 격려하는 자리를 가졌습니다.

한번도 시를 써본 경험이 없는 학생들이 많았음 에도 불구하고 주어진 단어를 창의적으로 활용하고, 저와의 협력 활동을 통해 시를 만들어 가며 자신감을 키워가는 모습이 매우 인상적이었습니다. 5명의 학생이 사행시를 완성하여 공모전에 제출했습니다.

Dear Parents,

This week in our class, students engaged in a creative and expressive activity centered around writing acrostic poems (사행시). By pairing nouns with suitable verbs, they crafted original poems and shared them aloud, developing both linguistic sensitivity and confidence in self-expression.

Homework

• Students who did not complete their acrostic poems should finish them on the school-provided paper and bring them next week.

• Review the vocabulary from the handout by reading the words aloud and learning their meanings.

• Next week, we will have a quiz/game activity where students will create sentences using the vocabulary they practiced at home.

Learning Highlights

• Vowel and Consonant Review
  We began by reviewing 16 vocabulary words from last week through a quiz format, which also served as a homework check.

• Listening Evaluation & Concept Introduction
  Students listened to an explanation of what an acrostic poem is, then practiced reading and understanding nouns and their matching verbs from the handout.

• Sentence Building Activity
  In small groups, students used word cards to create sentences. Students learned basic grammar to write correct sentences.

• Writing Evaluation & Creative Work
  Each student wrote their own acrostic poem, revised it with me, and submitted a final version on the school-provided paper.

• Hangul Design Contest Ceremony
  We celebrated Hanbyeol class student Jenny’s achievement as she received a bronze award in the Hangul Design Contest. It was a joyful and encouraging moment for all.

Despite many students having no prior experience writing poetry, they showed impressive creativity by using the given vocabulary and working closely with me to shape their ideas. Five students completed poems and I submitted them for the contest! Their growing confidence and enthusiasm were truly inspiring.
