2/3/2024 수업 내용

안녕하세요,

2학기 수업 첫날인 2/3일 토요일, 민국반의 수업 내용입니다:

- 도입: 인사

- 1교시: 번호 및 자리 배정

- 2교시: 민국반 학급 회의

- 점심

- 3교시: 발렌타인스데이 카드 만들고 간단한 메세지 적어보기

민국반에서는 첫 날 학급회의를 통해 학급 규칙을 만들었습니다. 아이들과 민주주의에 대해 아주 간단히 얘기해 보고, 민주주의의 방법을 통해 학급회의에서 민국반의 교실규칙도 세워보았습니다. 조용히 듣고 있던 아이들이 어느새 손을 들고 발표를 하는 모습에 살짝 감동을 받기도 했습니다. 

앞으로 민국반 아이들의 활동이 기대되는 바입니다. 

2/10/2024 토요일은 설날행사가 있는 날입니다. 한복이 있는 아이들은 한복을 입혀서 보내주세요. 만일 한복이 없다면 편한 복장으로 오면 됩니다.

Below is what we covered on 2/3/2024 in Minguk class;

- Intro: Greetings

- 1st period: Assignment of numbers and seats in the class

- 2nd period: Student conference 

- Lunch

- 3rd period: Arts & Crafts - making Valentine's Day card and writing simple message in Korean

Students had a chance to create their own class rules and had the opportunity to voice out their thoughts and opinions. We got to talk briefly about what Democracy is and how it works. Students seemed to understand the value of Democracy and slowly voiced out their own thoughts and opinions towards creating their own rules as a whole class. I have to say that I was a bit touched to see that the students slowly participated more and more during the session to make a better classroom environment, while promoting diversity and inclusion to foster our classroom environment conducive to learning.  

I am looking forward to teaching/learning/growing together with the class of Minguk.

The school will hold a Sulnal (Lunar new year's day) event next week, 2/10/2024. If the student has a hanbok to wear, please send them in one. If not, please send them in any attire comfortable for learning in a school setting.
