Halloween and Dokdo Day (continued)
ANNOUNCEMENTS + REMINDERS:
- Students have told me and parents have informed me that there are no students with food allergies in our class. Please let me know if we do have anything to be careful of!
- Please see the email I will send about the Annual Writing Contest.
CLASS TIME:
- We spent time finishing arts and crafts for Dokdo Day: Last week, Students had the option to choose between two different stations for arts and crafts related to Dokdo Day -> Folding and color with a story time station OR
coloring, cutting, and gluing art.
- There was also a Halloween parade we participated in (whether we wore a costume or not), where we got candies at the auditorium.
- We got to decorate Halloween themed cookies and wrote our names on them!
- We reviewed our vowels 아 야 어 여 오 요 우 유 으 이.
- We practiced + reading and writing consonants: ㄱ, ㄴ, ㄷ, ㄹ, ㅁ, ㅂ.
- Words with vowels: 이 (teeth), 아이 (child) 오 (5) 오이 (cucumber) 여우 (fox) 우유 (milk) 요요 (yo-yo).....
- Words combining vowels and consonants: 고기, 고구마, 나비, 누나, 바나나, 야구..
