First Semester Review day 2
ANNOUNCEMENTS + REMINDERS:
- Registration for semester 2:
Returning Students: 01.05.24-01.13.24
New Students: 01.14.24-01.21.24
- Semester 1 test will be on 12.16.23. We reviewed what we learned this semester, students should have papers for the consonants and vocabulary that we practiced in class.
CLASS TIME:
- To practice for our semester 1 test, we reviewed our vowels (아 야 어 여 오 요 우 유 으 이) and recently learned two new ones (에 (EH), 애 (EH), 와 (WAH)) and the first 14 consonants (ㄱ, ㄴ, ㄷ, ㄹ, ㅁ, ㅂ, ㅅ, ㅇ, ㅈ, ㅊ, ㅋ, ㅌ, ㅍ, ㅎ).
- Along with vocabulary words combining vowels and consonants.
- We continued the game to help us practice the vocabulary that we learned these past few months.
HOMEWORK:
Students should study for the semester 1 test. Please have the students review by using the worksheets (ㄱ, ㄴ, ㄷ, ㄹ, ㅁ, ㅂ, ㅅ, ㅇ) we did in class and the list of words that were used in the game time from this past week (should be a list of ~13 words).
Down below are the words that will be helpful to review and practice:
vowels:
아 (ah), 야 (yah), 어 (uh), 여 (yuh), 오 (oh), 요 (yoh), 우 (ooh), 유 (yooh), 으 (euh), 이 (ee), 에 (eh), 애 (eh), 와 (wah).
consonants:
ㄱ (G/K), ㄴ (N), ㄷ (D), ㄹ (L), ㅁ (M), ㅂ (B), ㅅ (S), ㅇ (A/O), ㅈ (J), ㅊ (CH), ㅋ (K), ㅌ (T), ㅍ (P), ㅎ (H).
