Annual Writing Contest and Dokdo Day (continued)
ANNOUNCEMENTS + REMINDERS:
- Our class has chosen 4 poems to enter in this years Annual Writing Contest! Thank you for putting in hard work for your child.
- We will be having an 'Open House' next week and parents are welcome to join from 10:20-10:50AM at our class C306! Please come and join us. For more details, look out for the email USBKS.
Schedule for Open House + Parent's Meeting Schedule:
10:20 – 10:50 1st -5th Open house in each classroom10:50 – 11:00 Snack and coffee time
11:00 – 11:50 Parents’ meeting
CLASS TIME:
- We spent time again finishing arts and crafts for Dokdo Day: Last 2 weeks, students had the option to choose between two different stations for arts and crafts related to Dokdo Day -> Folding and color with a story time station OR
coloring, cutting, and gluing art.
- We used majority of our class time learning about quatrain poems and lots of new vocabulary words that relate to the contest theme!
HOMEWORK: There is no homework for this week.
