Nara Newsletter 09.30.23

- This upcoming week, October 7th, we will be learning about Hangul Day! Students will learn about the holiday and the history behind how the Korean language has developed and how it began.

- Until now, our students have been practicing how to greet others, introduce ourselves, and to ask basic questions. 

- We have also started to learn reading and writing of the 5 basic vowels "아. 야, 어, 여, 오, 요, 우, 유, 으, 이" AND incorporating a few consonants like giyeok "ㄱ" and nieun "ㄴ".

- Using the letters we are learning, we have been applying them to words like 오이 (cucumber), 여우 (fox), 고기 (meat), 누나 (older sister), etc.

- The goal is for students to be familiar and confident in their vowels and consonants so that they can apply and use them in reading and writing.

HOMEWORK: There is no homework for this week.
