In Chapter 7, we learned vocabulary related to playing musical instruments and talked about what you can and cannot do in music or sports.

The Korean ending ‘-지요?’ is used to ask for confirmation, seek agreement, or make a statement in a polite and soft way. It’s often used when the speaker believes the listener shares the same knowledge or opinion and just wants to confirm it.In English grammar, ‘-지요?’ functions similarly to tag questions like: “isn’t it", “right?”, “don’t you think?”

These are used at the end of statements to turn them into soft, confirming questions.

Next week, we will learn vocabulary useful for expressing our thoughts after watching a performance. So please think about any performance or concerts you have seen before and can share.

See you next week!
