11/18 김장 행사

Hello,

This week we had a Kimjang event at school. We learned about what makes Kimjang a tradition, what its origins were, and how we make Kimchi. 

We discussed how Kimjang is not only food, but an intangible cultural tradition that brings people together. Then we experienced making Kimchi together and had a good time. 

We also learned about Negative Verb conjugations. We had already learned simple verb conjugations. (하다, 해요, 했어요, 할거예요) 

We then learned how to add (못/안 해요) to verbs to expressed can't/won't. Then we learned a negative version of conjugating verbs with (하지 않아요, 하지 않았어요, 하지 않을거예요)

Then we reviewed (있어요, 없어요) 

Then we tackled one more sentence form, (할 수 있어요, 할 수 없어요) To represent verbs as something we can/can't do. 

Next week is Thanksgiving break so there is no school.
