11/11 Class Overview

Hello,

Today we practiced analyzing sentence structure. 
We found the subject/object/verbs in sentences by identifying the conjugation and particles we learned last week. 

This helped us identify how parts of the sentence relate to each other and helped develop our reading comprehension skills. 

Then we had a lesson about Korean food. 
Specifically we learned about some fruits and vegetables that are frequently used in Korean food. 

We learned about some produce that is not grown/sold in America, and also about some produce that has the same name but has different variations in Korea. 

Then we learned about some side dishes and some of the common types of Kimchi. This is in preparation to next week's Kimjang event. 

Next week, we will learn about the process of making kimchi, and then we will participate in the school Kimjang event.
