10/14 Class Recap

Hello,

Here is a short summary of what we learned about in class today. 

We continued learning and reviewing the Korean consonants. (ㅁㅂㅅㅇㅈ) 

We learned how to pair them up with the 10 vowels to create 50 combined sounds. 

We learned how to write them correctly, how to read simple words containing them, and how to read basic sentences with simple words. 

Then we learned about the two systems of counting in Korean. 

These are Sino-Korean numbers and Pure Korean numbers. 

We learned about the logic of how we combine the digits 1-10 to count up to very high numbers, from 0 up to 999,999.

We discussed what the usages of each system are, and practiced reading the numbers.
