9.27 초등미술 수업내용입니다.

이번 주 수업에서는 **미러 이미지(좌우 대칭)**에 대해 배워보았습니다.
먼저 한옥 그림의 반쪽을 스케치북에 붙인 뒤, 학생들이 직접 나머지 반쪽을 똑같이 그려보며 대칭의 원리를 이해할 수 있도록 하였습니다. 그림을 그리면서 “양쪽이 똑같다”는 개념을 눈으로 확인하고, 세밀하게 관찰하며 따라 그리는 집중력도 기를 수 있었습니다.

이어서 데칼코마니 기법 활동도 함께 진행하였습니다. 종이에 물감을 묻힌 뒤 접어 펼치면 좌우가 똑같이 찍혀 나오는 원리를 직접 체험해 보면서, 미러 이미지의 개념을 더욱 재미있게 익혔습니다. 학생들은 다양한 색깔과 무늬가 양쪽으로 똑같이 표현되는 것을 신기해하며 즐겁게 참여했습니다.

이번 활동을 통해 아이들은 단순히 그림을 그리는 것에 그치지 않고, 대칭의 개념과 창의적인 표현 방법을 자연스럽게 배우는 시간을 가졌습니다.
 

This week, we learned about mirror images (symmetry).
Students were given half of a drawing of a traditional Korean house (hanok) and then completed the other half by drawing it themselves. Through this activity, they were able to understand the principle of symmetry, visually confirming the idea that “both sides are the same” while also practicing careful observation and concentration.

We also explored the decalcomania technique. By applying paint to one side of the paper, folding it, and then opening it again, students could see the mirrored patterns appear on both sides. They were fascinated by how the colors and shapes matched perfectly and enjoyed experimenting with different designs.

Through these activities, the students not only practiced drawing but also naturally learned about the concept of symmetry and discovered a creative way of artistic expression.
