1. 기본문장: “배고파요,  목말라요” Basic Sentence: “I am hungry/ I am thirsty”

2. 기본 지시어: “줄 서세요/ 손 씻으세요” Basic Directions: “Make a line/ Wash your hands”

3. 한글날, 세종대왕, 훈민정음 배우기 Learn Hangeul Day (Korean Letter Day), Sejong Daewang (The great king Sejong) & Hunminjungeum (original name of Korean letter Hangeul)

4. 모음 ‘ㅑ’ 와 ‘ㅕ’ 배우기 Learn Basic Vowels ‘ㅑ’ & ‘ㅕ’ 

5. 모음 체조 Vowel Body Lettering 

6. 세종대왕 어진앞 학급사진 Class picture in front of the photo banner of king Sejong 

7. ‘ㅑ’ & ‘ㅕ’ 새단어: “여우” & “아야” New words using ‘ㅑ’ & ‘ㅕ’: “fox”, “ouch”

8. 한글 모음 리스 만들기 Korean vowel wreath craft (도안 색칠하기 Coloring cut-outs, 세종대왕 얼굴 그리기 Draw the face of king Sejong, 모음 자르기 Cut vowel letters, 도안 풀로 붙이기 Glueing the design, 리본끈 테잎으로 붙이기Taping the ribbon) 

9. 숙제: 교과서 p. 24 모음 ‘ㅑ’ 익히기 & p. 33 모음 ’ㅕ’익히기 (교과서 페이지 24 와 33 에 학생들이 집에서 찾기 쉽게 포스트잇으로 마크해 놓았습니다).  바인더의 출석/숙제 스티커판을 채워서 상품을 받을수 있게 격려해 주세요!  Homework: Textbook p.24 Practice writing ‘ㅑ’ & p.33 Practice writing ’ㅕ’ (Textbook pages 24 & 33 are marked with Post-it to help your child finding pages easily at home). Please encourage them to fill up the attendance/homework sticker chart in their binder so they can earn a prize!

10. 다음주 10/18는  음악 수업이 있습니다. 큰 소음에 민감한 학생은 집에서 헤드셋을 가져와서 음악수업에 참여할수 있도록 도와주세요. Next Saturday on October 18th, there will be a music class. Please help students who are sensitive to loud noises by allowing them to bring a headset from home to use during music class.
