Dear students,
It is a pleasure to introduce myself. My name is Jounghee Won, and I will be your instructor for Adult Class 2 at USBKS. I am excited to meet each of you and look forward to a productive and rewarding year together.
I am dedicated to providing engaging and effective guidance, ensuring consistent improvement in your Korean language proficiency.
Please take a moment to review the important information provided below:
Textbook
We will use the textbook "Sogang Korean 1B" for this course.
I’ve also attached a detailed lesson plan outlining weekly topics, key expressions, and important school events/holidays.
Class: Every Saturday, 8:50 AM ~ 11:45 AM
Classes will be held at the address below, and I kindly ask that you join on time. If you are unable to attend, or if you will be late or need to leave early, please let me know in advance via email or text.
13300 SE 30th St. Suite 201, Bellevue, WA 98005
Class Schedule:(The schedule may vary depending on the lesson content.)
1st Session: 8:50 AM - 9:45 AM
2nd Session: 9:55 AM - 10:40 AM
3rd Session: 10:50 AM - 11:45 AM
Grades:
Midterm Exam 30% / Final Exam 40% / Homework 25% / Attendance 5%
If you miss more than 5 classes (30%) over the 16 weeks, retaking the course is recommended.
Instead of a traditional midterm exam, we will have quizzes during each class that will count toward your midterm grade.
If you have unavoidable circumstances and need to make up for missed classes, I will provide learning materials for your support.
