1월 6일 - 스퀴지 & 컷아웃 페인팅 -1

이번 프로젝트는 스퀴지 페인팅과 컷아웃 기법을 혼합한 작품입니다.

스퀴지 페인팅은 물감으로 그림을 그리지만 붓이 아닌 스퀴저로 밀어서 그리는 표현방법입니다.

먼저 종이에 여러가지 색상의 물감을 한방울씩 떨어뜨리고 스퀴저를 이용하여 물감을 눌러 펼칩니다. 

물감이 마르기 전, 스퀴저로 물감을 여러가지 방향으로 밀어서 나타나는 우연의 이미지와 색 조합을 연습했습니다. 물감이 두꺼워서 시간 내에 마르지 않은 작업은 학생들이 각자 집으로 가져갔습니다.

다음주에는 스퀴지 페인팅 위에 컷아웃 기법을 결합하여 작품을 완성합니다.

따라서 작품을 완성하는데 오늘 완성한 스퀴지 페인팅 작품이 꼭 필요합니다. 학생들이 다음주 수업에 꼭 가져갈 수 있도록 리마인드 시켜주시기 바랍니다.

Students practiced a squeegee today and will add cut-out painting next week. Squeegee painting is a technique which is drawn using paint with squeegee instead of a paint brush.

Students pick several colored paints and drop them on a paper, then press and spread the paint using a squeegee. Students push and spread the paint in diverse directions to create accidental images and color combinations.

Work that didn’t dry in time was taken home by the students. Students will add cut out works on the squeegee painting and complete the work next week.
