참나무반  학부모님께,

안녕하세요? 2023-2024 학년도 참나무반 담임을 맡은 한범준입니다.

시애틀 밸뷰 통합 한국학교를 통해 학생들과 가족 여러분을 만나게 되어 반갑습니다.

우리 참나무반은 즐겁게 한글을 배우는 중급반으로 말하기, 듣기가 중급이고 쓰기, 읽기가 초급인 학생들이 모여서 더욱 한글실력을 다지는 학급입니다.  

올해 참나무반 학생들은 각각 한국어 노출 정도에 다소 차이가 있기 때문에, ‘재외동포를  위한  한국어  3-1’를 주 교재로, ‘재외동포를  위한  한국어  3-2’를 보조 교재로 사용하여 통해 일상 생활에서 쓰이는 기본 어휘를 익히고 문법의 기본을 다질 계획입니다. 

이외 다양한 학습활동을 통해 말하기/듣기 연습 및 역사/문화 학습도 동반하여 수업을 할 계획입니다. 

재미를 통해 한글에 대한 관심과 열정과 의지가 한 학년 내내 지속될 수 있도록 최선을 다해 수업에 임하겠습니다. 부모님들께서도 학생들에게 많은 격려와 지지 부탁드립니다. 

***교재는  3 번째주에  배부됩니다.***

• 수업내용: 교재(재외동포를 위한 한국어 3-1)를 사용한 어휘/문법 학습, 다양한 수업 활동을 통한 말하기/듣기 연습 및 학교 행사를 통한 역사/문화 학습

• 준비물: 교과서, 1 인치 3-ring 바인더, 공책, 연필 3-4 자루, 지우개, 간식/물

• 숙제: 수업 내용 (어휘) 복습을 위해 20-30 분 정도 소요되는 과제

• 지각  및  결석  관련  교칙: 10 시 이후 등교 혹은 11 시 이전 하교 시 지각 처리되며, 지각이나 조퇴가 4 번이면 1 회 결석 처리됩니다.

마지막으로, 몇 가지 당부 말씀드립니다. 일주일에 한 번 있는수업임으로 학생들의 능력향상을 

위해서는 댁에서의 지속적인 지원이 필요합니다. 학생이 매주 과제를  마무리해서  늦지  않게 

수업에  참석할 수 있도록 격려해주시기 바랍니다.

Dear Families,

My name is Bumjun Han (Mr. Han), and I am excited to be your student’s teacher in 

ChamNaMu Class this school year. 

Our ChamNaMu class is an intermediate class where students who are intermediate in speaking and listening, and beginners in writing and reading, come together to strengthen their Korean language skills.  

This year, we plan to use 'The Korean Language 3-1' as the main textbook and 'The Korean Language 3-2' as a supplementary textbook to acquire basic vocabulary used in daily life and strengthen the basics of grammar. 

In addition, the class will include speaking/listening practice and historical/cultural learning through various learning activities. 

I will do my best to ensure that the interest, enthusiasm, and will to learn Hangeul through fun will continue throughout the school year, and I would like to ask parents to give their students a lot of encouragement and support.

*** The textbook will be distributed in the 3rd week.***

• Curriculum: Our textbook, The Korean Language 3-1, includes lessons on basic 

vocabulary, grammar, and daily expressions. Students can also practice listening 

and speaking skills through classroom activities and games. Korean traditions and 

customs will be introduced via school-wide cultural events.

• Required Supplies: Textbook, 3-ring binder, notebook, pencils, eraser, and 

snack/water

• Assignments: Vocabulary and/or Workbook

(Assignments will take approximately 20-30 minutes/week to review the previous 

lesson.)

(The plan may be modified depending on students’ learning pace and 

unexpected situations throughout the year.)

This is a weekend school where we meet only once a week. Your continued support and 

encouragement at home throughout the week are essential for students’ learning and 

progress. Please support them in completing their assignments and being on time for class 

each week.
