Class contents & assignment - 11/11/2023 > 개나리 (KaeNaRi)

개나리반 학습 내용입니다. This is today's lesson.

오늘은 한글 기초의 마지막 부분인 받침을 배워보고, 내 이름을 한글로 써보는 시간을 가졌습니다. 

Today, kids learned about final consonants, the last part of the basics of Hangul, and had time to write my name in Hangul. 

5단원을 마무리 한 뒤, 팀 빌딩 게임으로 반 친구 이름 외우기 게임을 했습니다. 

이번 개나리 반 학생들이 유독 친한 친구하고만 (혹은 동성의 친구하고만) 활동하려는 경향이 강하여, 랜덤하게 이름 뽑기로 팀을 두 팀으로 나눠서 진행하였으나, 그 중 참여하기를 완강히 거부한 학생들이 있어 결국 그 학생들을 제외하고 게임을 할 수 밖에 없었습니다. 

일주일에 한 번 뿐인 한글 학교 수업이지만, 한글 학교 또한 집단이며 단체에 어울려 참여하는 것은 중요한 교육의 하나라고 생각합니다. 

단지 그 게임 자체를 하고 싶지 않아하는 학생의 경우에는  참여 여부를 자율에 맡기나, 팀에 내 마음에 들지 않는 친구 혹은 이성의 친구가 있다고 하여 계속 불만을 품고 팀을 방해하는 경우는 올바른 행동으로 간주하지 않습니다. 

After finishing Unit 5, we played a team building game which involved memorizing classmates' names. 

GaeNaRi students in this year have a particularly strong tendency to only work with close friends (or only with same-gender classmates), so I divided the class into two teams by randomly drawing names. But there were students who stubbornly refused to participate, so in the end, I had no choice but to play the game without those students. 

Although we have a Korean class only once a week, Korean school is also a group, and I believe that participating in a group is an important part of education. 

In the case of a student who simply doesn't want to play the game itself, participation is left to the student's choice. However, if a student continues to be dissatisfied and interferes with the team because there is a friend on the team that he or she doesn't like , or a friend of the opposite gender, I don't consider it as right behavior.
