Dear Parents/Guardians of PaRangSe Class,

Hello. My name is Jieun Lee. I’ll be teaching PaRangSe Class this 2023-24 school year.

I am so excited to get to know you and your students this year. PaRangSe is an introduction-level class designed for mostly 1st graders in which we introduce students to basic consonants and vowels of the Korean language. Through this course, students will develop all four areas of language learning – reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Since many students come from non-Korean-speaking backgrounds and are new to the language, our curriculum will focus on increasing interest in the Korean language and culture. 

Your students will be provided with differentiated instructions that suit different needs. In our classroom community, students will grow their language skills while collaborating with other students. Every week our class sessions will be full of fun and engaging activities that students would never want to miss. It will also include meaningful cultural learning as well as hands-on activities.

Please bring the following supplies every Saturday:
