In celebration of 삼일절, the students learned about Korea’s history of regaining independence after being under Japanese rule. They explored the sacrifices and efforts made by Korean leaders and ancestors during this important period.

The students also learned about the meaning of the symbols on the Korean national flag and created their own 태극기. To conclude the lesson, everyone gathered together to proudly shout, “Long live the Republic of Korea.
