It was a Lunar New Year celebration day at school. In honor of Korean 설날, we learned about what Seollal is, what significance it holds for Korean people, what special foods are eaten, and what traditional games are played. After this educational lesson, we performed 세배 (a traditional deep bow) to the members of the Korean School board of directors, received words of blessing and encouragement, and were given 세뱃돈 (New Year's money). We also took a group photo together. On top of that, we all made a paper craft of a girl performing sebae.
