Greetings!

The days are gradually getting longer. However, despite this, there are still people catching colds due to the chilly weather, so please take care of your health to avoid getting sick.

In the last class, existing students and new students came together to learn all the Korean alphabet. The existing students focused on writing, while the new students concentrated on reading and speaking. The content covered in class can be found at the link below. We learned about compound vowels, compound consonants, batchim (final consonants), and how to write in Hangul, so please make sure to practice using the book I distributed at home.

This week, we will learn about Seollal, one of the biggest holidays in Korea. First, we will review the content learned last time, and then we plan to hold a New Year’s greeting ceremony and various Seollal events, so I hope everyone will participate without fail.

Please practice writing the attached Hangul consonant and vowel practice chart and also practice the pronunciation. ????
