2학기 To the Parents of Art Class 1, Art Instruction Plan

Dear Parents,

학부모님께, 안녕하세요. 이번 학기부터 초등미술반이 유치미술반과 합반하여 미술1로 변경되었습니다. 
수업지도를 담당하게 된 김소라입니다.
 

우리 미술반은 아이들이 그림을 보다 쉽고 즐겁게 배울 수 있도록 기초부터 단계별로 진행됩니다.
 

첫 번째 단계에서는 선, 면, 도형, 빛, 그림자, 입체, 원근 등 미술의 기본 요소를 배우며, 복잡해 보이는 사물을 단순한 형태로 나누어 관찰하고 표현하는 연습을 합니다. 이 과정을 통해 그림을 시작하는 데 대한 부담을 줄이고, 자연스럽게 자신감을 키워나가도록 돕습니다.
 

두 번째 단계에서는 수채화, 파스텔, 아크릴, 마블링 등 다양한 미술 재료와 기법을 직접 체험합니다. 각 재료가 가진 색감과 질감, 표현 방식의 차이를 경험하면서 아이들이 스스로 탐색하고 창의적으로 표현할 수 있도록 지도합니다.
 

세 번째 단계에서는 고전 미술 작품을 감상하고 일부를 따라 그려보며 거장들의 표현 기법을 배웁니다. 이를 통해 미술에 대한 이해의 폭을 넓히고, 배운 기법을 자신만의 작품에 응용하여 더욱 깊이 있는 표현을 시도하게 됩니다.
 

마지막으로, 아이들은 자신만의 주제를 정해 하나의 완성 작품을 만들어보는 시간을 갖습니다. 그동안 배운 기초와 기법을 바탕으로 스스로 계획하고 표현하며, 작품을 완성하는 성취감과 기쁨을 경험하게 됩니다.
 

관찰하고 표현하는 과정을 통해 아이들은 세상을 더 깊이 바라보는 눈을 기르고, 자신만의 생각을 작품으로 담아내게 됩니다. 매 시간 자신의 작품을 자랑스럽게 여기며, 다음 수업을 기대하는 마음으로 교실을 나설 수 있기를 바랍니다.

 수업은 푸른반교실 B 206 에서 진행되며, 픽업은 오후 1시 30분에 해당 교실로 오시면 됩니다. 지도 첨부하였습니다
 준비물은 각자 기본 스케치북, 연필, 지우개를 지참해 주시기 바랍니다.
그 외 수업에 필요한 재료는 제가 준비하도록 하겠습니다. 수업 중 물감이나 다양한 재료를 사용할 예정이므로 옷이 더러워질 수 있습니다. 편하고 활동하기 좋은 복장으로 보내주시면 감사하겠습니다.

Hello,

Beginning this semester, the Elementary Art class has been combined with the Kindergarten Art class and is now renamed Art 1. My name is Sora Kim, and I will be leading the class.
 

Our art class is designed to help children learn drawing in a way that feels both approachable and enjoyable, progressing step by step from the basics.
 

In the first stage, students learn fundamental elements of art such as line, shape, form, light, shadow, volume, and perspective. They practice breaking down complex objects into simple forms through observation and drawing. This process helps reduce the fear of starting a drawing and builds confidence naturally.
 

In the second stage, students explore a variety of art materials and techniques, including watercolor, pastel, acrylic, and marbling. By experiencing the unique qualities of each medium—such as color, texture, and expressive possibilities—they are encouraged to experiment and develop their creativity.
 

In the third stage, students observe classical artworks and recreate selected portions to learn from master artists. Through this experience, they deepen their understanding of art and apply newly learned techniques to their own original creations.
 

Finally, students create their own independent artwork based on a personal theme. Using the foundational skills and techniques they have learned, they plan, express, and complete a final piece, experiencing both accomplishment and pride in their work.

Through the process of observing and expressing, students develop the ability to see the world more deeply and translate their own thoughts into art. My hope is that each child leaves every class feeling proud of their work and looking forward to the next lesson.
 

The class will take place in the Pureun Class classroom (B 206), and pickup time will be at 1:30 PM from that classroom.

Students are asked to bring their own basic sketchbook, pencil, and eraser. All other materials needed for the lessons will be provided by me.

Since we will be using paint and various art materials during class, clothing may get dirty. Please have your child wear comfortable clothes suitable for art activities.
