안녕하세요. 이번 봄학기 종이랑 미술이랑 B (PreK Art - B) 수업을 맡게 된 김정현입니다. 아이들과 함께 미술 수업을 하게 되어 설레고 기대되는 마음으로 인사드립니다.

PreK 미술 수업은 결과보다 과정을 중요하게 생각합니다. 아이들이 편안한 분위기 속에서 자유롭게 자신을 표현하며 미술 활동을 즐기고, 자신감을 키워 갈 수 있기를 바랍니다. 네 살 아이들은 가위 사용이나 풀 붙이기가 아직 서툴 수 있지만, 수업을 통해 자연스럽게 소근육을 발달시키고 내년 킨더가든 생활 준비에도 도움이 되길 기대합니다.

아이들이 다양한 재료와 활동을 통해 즐겁게 경험하며 작은 성취감을 느낄 수 있도록, 따뜻하고 편안한 분위기에서 수업을 진행할 예정입니다.

수업과 관련해 궁금한 점이나 걱정되는 부분이 있으시면 언제든지 편하게 연락 주세요. 또한 아이가 수업에 결석할 경우 미리 알려주시면 감사하겠습니다. 아이들과 즐겁고 따뜻한 미술 시간을 만들어 가길 기대합니다!

Hello, my name is Esther Kim, and I will be teaching PreK Art – B this spring semester. I am delighted to meet you and excited to explore art with your children.

In PreK art class, we focus more on the creative process than the final result. My goal is for the children to feel comfortable expressing themselves freely, enjoy the art activities, and build confidence along the way. Four-year-olds are still developing skills such as using scissors and glue, and through our lessons, they will naturally strengthen their fine motor skills, which will also help prepare them for kindergarten next year.

I plan to create a warm and supportive classroom environment where children can explore a variety of materials, enjoy hands-on activities, and experience a sense of accomplishment through small successes.

If you have any questions or concerns about the class, please feel free to reach out at any time. Also, I would appreciate it if you could let me know in advance if your child will be absent from class.
