5/2 고려 청자 Goryeo Celadon

이번 시간에는 한국울 대표하는 도자기 중 하나인 고려 청자를 표현해 보았습니다. 먼저, 기다란 청자에 원형의 무늬를 배치해서 붙인 뒤, 흰색 오일 파스텔로 색칠하고 티슈로 무늬 안쪽으로 문질러서 골고루 펴줍니다.  그 다음, 동그란 청자에는 자신만의 무늬를 그려넣은 뒤, 흰색 오일 파스텔로 색칠하여 문질러 줍니다. 두 청자를 오려서 도안 종이에 붙인 뒤, 꽃과 나비를 색깔 있는 오일 파스텔로 색칠하여 역시 안쪽으로 문질러 그라데이션을 줍니다.

In this session, we explored Goryeo Celadon, one of Korea’s most iconic traditional potteries. First, the students placed circular patterns on a tall celadon vase, colored them with white oil pastels, and gently rubbed them with tissues to blend the color evenly. Next, they designed their own unique patterns on a round celadon vase, applying the same coloring and blending technique. After cutting out both vases and pasting them onto the background, they finished the artwork by coloring flowers and butterflies with vibrant oil pastels, rubbing the colors inward to create a beautiful gradation effect.
