11/15 가을 열매 단감과 밤 삑삑이 Autumn fruit squeaky persimmon & chestnut

 이번 시간에는 한국에서 가을철에 많이 먹는 대표적인 열매인 단감과 밤을, 손으로 누르면 귀여운 소리가 나는 삑삑이가 들어 있는 폭신한 장난감으로 만들어 보았습니다. 먼저 과일 모양 도안의 앞면에는 얼굴을 그려 넣고, 뒷면에는 이름을 써 줍니다. 각자 색칠을 한 뒤, 굵은 테이프를 붙여 코팅해 줍니다. 그 후 도안을 잘라 앞면과 뒷면을 맞댄 다음, 테이프로 가장자리를 붙입니다. 남겨둔 창구멍으로 솜과 삑삑이를 넣은 뒤, 테이프로 잘 막아줍니다. 완성된 장난감을 눌러 소리를 내며 즐거워하는 모습에  행복해지는 토요일이었습니다.

In this class, we made soft, squeezable toys shaped like persimmons and chestnuts-two popular fall fruits in Korea—each filled with a little squeaker that make a cute sound when pressed with hands. On the front of the fruit templates, the children drew faces, and on the back, they wrote their names. After coloring, we laminated the sheets using thick tape. Then the students cut out their fruit shapes, matched the front and back pieces together, and sealed the edges with tape. Through an opening left on one side, they stuffed in cotton balls and added a squeaker before taping it closed. Seeing the children joyfully pressing their finished toys and giggling at the squeaky sounds made our Saturday feel especially heartwarming.
