12/20에는 기말고사가 예정되어 있습니다. 이 날 결석 예정인 학생은 꼭 미리 연락 주세요. 해당 학생은 앞당겨 시험을 볼 수 있도록 하겠습니다.
The final exam is scheduled for 12/20. If your child will be absent that day, please let me know in advance so they can take the test early.

이번 주에는 ㄷ, ㄹ, ㅁ과 모음의 조합을 복습하고 원숭이 게임기를 만들었습니다. 게임기 자판을 치며 부른 원숭이 노래는 한국 1학년 교과서에 실린 동시로 만든 노래입니다.
 This week, we reviewed the combinations of ㄷ, ㄹ, ㅁ with vowels and made a monkey game device. The monkey song we sang while tapping the buttons is based on a poem from the Korean first-grade textbook.

1, 2학년 수업이라 색칠하고, 오리고 붙이는 활동이 많습니다. 색연필이나 마커, 풀과 가위에 꼭 이름을 써서 가져와 주세요. (주인을 잃은 색연필들은 공용 필통에서 주인을 기다리고 있습니다.)
Since this class includes 1st and 2nd graders, we often color, cut, and glue. Please label your child’s colored pencils, markers, glue, and scissors. (Unclaimed pencils are waiting for their owners in the shared supply box.)

다음 주 받아쓰기 범위는 ㄷ·ㄹ·ㅁ과 모음의 조합, 그리고 ‘두루미, 두 마리’입니다.
Next week’s dictation will include the vowel combinations for ㄷ, ㄹ, ㅁ and the words “두루미, 두 마리.”
